Delivery companies, hauliers, tradespeople, sales teams and any business with company vehicles that regularly use the Dartford Crossing. A fleet account works identically to a personal pre-pay account — you can have up to 20 vehicles on one account with one Direct Debit.

How to Set Up a Fleet Account
The Dart Charge "fleet account" is the same as a personal pre-pay account — there is no separate business registration process. Any account can hold up to 20 vehicles.

Add your first vehicle by registration number

Deposit minimum £15 (more recommended for a fleet — £50+ to avoid running empty)

Managing Your Fleet Account
Adding vehicles
Log in to your account, go to 'Manage vehicles', and add each vehicle by registration plate. Takes less than a minute per vehicle.
Removing vehicles
Remove sold or returned vehicles immediately to avoid confusion. The system tracks by registration, so a sold vehicle could still trigger charges to your account.
Topping up
With Direct Debit auto top-up enabled, the account automatically tops up when balance falls below a threshold you set. Recommended for all fleet accounts.
Transaction reports
Download CSV reports filtered by date range, vehicle or crossing. Useful for mileage expense claims, VAT records and driver accountability.
